Eric was born in Boone, North Carolina. He has been married to Kimberly since 1997. They have 3 children, Hayes, Angela Claire, and Jake. In February 2007, Eric began serving as the Director of EQUIP Sports Ministry. He was licensed to the ministry in September 2009.
